MOTHER’S DAY 2017-A LETTER FROM A GRATEFUL SON TO MOM..

Dear Mom,
I will never be able to find the words to describe how amazing you are, nor how much I admire you…..but I’m going to try.
For as long as I can remember, you have been there for me, loving me unconditionally and supporting me. From my elementary school days of reading with me and racing me to do my math homework, my middle school days of driving there to bring me whatever assignment I had happen to forget, or my high-school days of helping me manage my time between jobs, responsibilities, or practices. When I was falling, you were there to lift me up, care for me, and help me move forward. You never asked more from me than my best, and I thank you for that. Without you by my side, I would never be the boy…no, the man, I am today.
As I prepare to to go off to college, I will never forget the memories we have made: our road trip across Florida, you helping me deal with my multitude of Xs, our little shopping trips to the outlets, our long talks about life. These events, along with so many others have shaped me, molded me, and have instilled lessons that I will carry with me forever. Lessons like not to miss work, how to manage money, how to always be kind and patient, how to listen more than you speak because words can never be taken back, and so many more…the list goes on mom.
You are such an admirable human being. I hope that when I have kids, I am at least 1/2 the parent you are. You are honestly, the greatest mom ever, and I will forever appreciate you. Your character is something out of a book, it is unreal. I don’t think I have ever met someone as kind as you, with such an unconditional positive regard for others, yet you are so strong-willed and strong in your morals.

Mom, I love you. If you ever wonder about me, or if you raised right, just know that you set me up for success. I could have never asked for a better mother, or a better friend. You did everything right, and more.

I love you mom, Happy Mother’s Day.

Spencer
