THE REAL THANKSGIVING

Like many of you, Thanksgiving Day is absolutely one of my favorite holidays. A time to be with relatives and friends while enjoying those wonderful smells that fill the household. A time to eat a lot of great food, watch football and reflect on things, which inevitability brings me to the realization how thankful I am to be an American.  A lot has transpired since October 3, 1789, when President Washington signed a declaration entitled “General Thanksgiving,” the decree appointed the day “to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many and signal favors of Almighty God.” Then in 1863, President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed, that on the 4th Thursday of November; “Thanksgiving and Praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the Heavens”.

The Politically “Independent” columnist…aka Obama’s Cronie and the Home Grown Leftist Media

This is from a post of mine from 2013, but deserves reporting. We..our beloved country, is in hot water on multiple fronts due to the Liberal Press not reporting all the facts so we may make our OWN choices for ourselves and our families. Matt Reed and the Florida Yesterday is among those that chose deceit over the absolute truth. they chose themselves the arbiters of what information we would receive..or as Matt once told me, “we print what AP sends us”.

This morning, I read Matt Reed’s column; Now own up to the costs, Mr. President.

Nice luke warm article. Matt, along with the blessing of  Ex. Editor, Bob Stover, by under reporting, you allowed the abuses, lies, cronyism and distortions of our Marxist president to continue. Matt and Bob, Obama didn’t “mislead” us; HE LIED!

OBAMACARE-READING BETWEEN THE LINES..IF YOU ARE GIVEN THE LINES.

Hi Matt,

Thanks for your information(see below). In the spirit of sharing the truth, I went to the Kaiser Foundation poll and I thought it might be proper to include the following poll information. Here is the site if you would like to put it out there so everyone can see it and all its contents, http://kff.org/health-reform/poll-finding/march-2013-tracking-poll/ .

I found the 10 point difference in Party Identification in favor of the Democrats telling. So much for balanced polls.

Here is a quote from the beginning of the poll that is self explanatory;

“Though opinion on the law overall remains nearly evenly divided, opponents’ attacks seem to have taken a toll on the public’s expectations, and Americans are now more likely to think the law will make things worse and not better for their own families. While most of the law’s individual provisions remain popular, many of the most well-liked elements are the least well-known among the public.”
