DAVID COLEMAN’S AP HISTORY- A HISTORY OF TYRANNY

The revisionist history of the left has once again made it under the radar and into our Brevard schools. The ones that are tasked with overseeing our county educational system have failed us again. Released in 2012 it will be the history course that our best and brightest will see; for many of them it will be the last history course they will take.

David Coleman, a man who is unelected, is not a standards expert nor is a teacher has stealthfully brought a new version of AP History (APUSH) into Brevard Schools. This is the same David Coleman, along with Bill Gates and Jeb Bush, that spearheaded the Unconstitutional Common Core down our throats and into our nation’s and Florida’s school system. Last night, I was allowed my 3 minutes to speak before the school board and except for Amy Knesseey, all I saw were blank stares. Not very encouraging. There were no questions about this appalling distortion of America’s history now in Brevard schools. In a nutshell, the new APUSH course presents ; “the history of the United States is a history of exportation, imposed suffering, forced labor,exportation, class oppression,racism, sexism, and the rule of the privileged few over everyone else.”

MR. CRISAFULLI: ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS

Dear Mr. Crisafulli,

 

I understand that you are looking for re-election campaign help. You have purported being a Conservative, and in the past, even though you are not my Representative, but on your word, I spoke in your favor at different citizen’s meetings throughout Brevard county. My wife and I are parents of a 15-year-old high school student.I have researched Common Core since first learning of it and the Trojan Horse know as RACE TO THE TOP in 2008. While trying to find your number to arrange a meeting with you, I accidentally called your business office and spoke with your mom. Common Core From A Fighting Dad

As a disabled Viet Nam era Marine and the father of a 15 year old son, I have been fighting Common Core since 2008, when hearing about Federal bride to states known as Race To The Top. RTTT was foisted upon my state. I smelled a rat and was right. Simply stated,Common Core removes parents from directing their child’s education, allows an unconstitutional intrusion by the Fed to indoctrinate and to psychologically manipulate our children.
Here in Florida, Gov. Scott, along with Reps. Workman & Tobia, for the love of money and influence , has sold us out. He and his ilk, by tweeking around the edges of the CC standards, leaving 98% unchanged, then changing the name of the Common Core standards to the Florida Sunshine State Standards. Please, we parents and teachers of Florida are not that dumb; “putting lipstick on a pig is still a pig”.
The standards are still the same untested Common Core Standards. There are millions of us out there across the country, that see this for what it is from an administration out of control and will continue to fight.
