The federal government is taking control of local academic standards through the Department of Education, (DOE) in Washington, DC. The objective; a nationalized education system, which caters to special interest influence in the classrooms, allowing insidious data collection, while removing local control. It will provide little options for reform, and severely limit parental involvement. We parents know what our children need better than the bureaucrat in DC. The expansion of the federal government into our lives threatens the long-established right of parents to direct their children’s education and confuses a proper understanding of federalism. Moreover, national standards and tests would be a one-size-fits-all approach that tends toward mediocrity and standardization, undercutting the pockets of excellence and the principle of federalism on which this nation is founded.

DARCEY ADDO JUST CAN’T HELP HERSELF

Yesterday, my blog provided information that I had culled from Ms Addo’s earlier website, which bears no resemblance to her current website today,( http://www.darceyaddo.com). Her website today makes no reference to her being a proud Bold Progressive or any of the associated trappings; (see THE REAL DARCEY ADDO!),which leads me to believe that Ms Addo has attempted to purposefully mislead the voter about who and what she is.

I am a comservative and have no compunction in stating so; but Ms Addo is a Liberal, aka Progressive and has a real problem with openly stating so.

In a recent Fakebook post, Ms Addo tries to make the point to Jessica that it is tough when you don’t have a political affiliation, to raise money.  It sure seems like she does have a political affiliation; especially when you consider the company she keeps and extolls! Among many other Democrats, HilLIARy Clinton is proudly a Progressive and a Socail Justice advocate! Please note who Ms Addo is so very proud to associate with at her Bold Progressive National Candidate Training; none other than Pocahontas, aka, “**THE** Elizabeth Warren:)”.

Ms Addo, voters want to know who they are dealing with and that the candidate can be trusted. Most assuredly, you have purposefully  distorted and mislead us about who and what you are.

Very telling…

Hi all,

The screen shots that I have included at the bottom of this post are from Ms. Addo’s original website for school board(see top of pages), but because, as she says, is “honest” and “authentic”(wink wink), it in no way resembles the website that is up now. Please, after reviewing what is below, take a look at her present website. So much for being “honest” and “authentic“. 

 So I thought it appropriate to send this out in hope of letting everyone know that Ms Addo most definitely is not who or what she claims.

THE ELITE ESTABLISHMENT IN EDUCATION

Great letter and explanation from Chris Quakenbush, the newest member of the Lee County School Board. Note how Chris’ reaching out to the “Elite” leaders of the school board, culminated in no response for over 5 months.

And I thought it was unique here in Brevard, for “Elitist” Superintendent Blackburn, for over 2 months,to completely ignore this parent’s multiple requests to be involved in the processes that directly impacts what my and other parent’s children are exposed to.

It is really deplorable that our Brevard School Board, as a whole, chose to remain silent for years concerning the unconstitutional, indoctrination called Common Core. It is time to remove all, including Mr Blackburn from the School Board.

PARENTS ARE OF NO CONCERN AT THE BREVARD SCHOOL BOARD

I have been out of the loop for a few weeks and just sat down at my Mac for the first time.

A disturbing act by our school board is the consideration of a policy change for the LGBT crowd.  One that Ms Amy Kneesey, Andy Andereson and Desmond Blackburn support..against the wishes of the community. Ms Kneessey is  is excited to vote before she leaves office.

The nationally funded LGBT movement is not about ‘equal protection’; it is about pushing an agenda of coercion, intimidation, silencing other’s views, in the name of victimhood and “fairness”.  These very same things that the LGBT crowd say they want for themselves, they work tiredly to deny to others. We need only to look at the Colorado baker and the mid west Pizza shop owner or more recently, the attack on the citizens of N.C. The LGBT crowd will tell you that these attacks are due to LGBT victimhood “rights” being denied, yet the truth is the opposite. NC’s legislation specifically protects LBGT crowd, but more importantly protected the rights of those that follow their relious beliefs and associated free speech.  This is the “camel’s nose under the tent”, where among other issues, they will push males having access to female’s locker and bathrooms. We have seen it time and again. Yet, Kneessy, Anderson and Blackburn ignore the facts, against the vast majority of Brevard citizens.
