If you are not covering this up, then why not bring this appalling story to light? Again, if as editors, you in particular being the Executive Editor, are not responsible for making the deliberate choice to hold back on the story, then who had the final say on this? You suggest that you were not directed by Mr. Neuharth, the founder of USA Today, Florida Today and former chairman and CEO of Gannett Co. Inc who makes his home in Cocoa Beach. Then, who is? What are they afraid of? Whomever is responsible, he/she is a principled coward, who hides behind the First Amendment, damaging free enterprise for political reasons and at the cost of True Freedom of The Press , Free Speech and American lives. The very ones that are supposed to protect the American people with the truth, are today fundamental threats to the republic and have become the enemy of the American people.
Again, what has occurred and was confirmed over 72 HOURS AGO through multiple sources, deserves front page. Since this travesty has not seen the light of day and is being hidden away, then by definition, it is a COVER-UP OF A COVER-UP. As Americans, as journalists, it is your duty to print the WHOLE TRUTH… not to hide it.
